Transition to Private Practice Consultation
I know how daunting the idea of moving from agency or group practice to an independent private practice can be. There are many steps to take and very little guidance. As a result of my own journey, I am pleased to offer consultative guidance on the process. Whether you are looking for someone to text or call just when questions arise, someone to walk you through each step from start to finish, or someone to give your information to and complete steps for you, I am happy to provide this wide-ranging service to support you through your transition. For more information, please reach out.
Reading Consultation Group
Join me and local colleagues in utilizing topical readings to stimulate conversation and clinical consultation examining related concepts during our in-person monthly meetings. Discussion and consultation centers around incorporating and deepening a neurobiologically-informed trauma clinical lens and challenging, learning, and unlearning as it relates to our own intersectional identities and biases. Our meetings are on the 4th Fridays of each month from 9-10:30am. To join an email list with monthly meeting information or to join our next meeting, please email me.
For our March group, we will start the book The Quaking of America: An Embodied Guide to Navigating Our Nation’s Upheaval and Racial Reckoning by Resmaa Menakem, MSW, LICSW, SEP.
