Graduate Training:
My training is in Clinical Forensic Psychology from the doctorate program at The Chicago School. During that time, I focused on learning and training in the intersections between psychology and law, training within correctional institutions, community mental health centers, a forensic psychiatric hospital, residential school, and outpatient mental health centers. My dissertation research provided insight into complex trauma prevalence and the use of a screening instrument within an adolescent correctional institution.
During graduate school, I studied internationally across three continents concerning socio-political and intergenerational transmission of trauma as well as cultural adaptations to trauma treatment and psychology.
